THE ULTIMATE CHASE Days ago, Belisarius pulled off the most audacious con job in history. He’s rich, he’s back with the love of his life, and he has the Time Gates, the most valuable things in existence. Nothing could spoil this… …except the utter destruction of his people and their world. To save them, he has to make a new deal with the boss he just double-crossed, travel back in time and work his quantum magic once again. If he can avoid detection, dodge paradox and stay ahead of the eerie, relentless Scarecrow, he might just get back to his own time alive. “Künsken has a wonderfully ingenious imagination.” - Adam Roberts, Locus “An audacious con job, scintillating future technology, and meditations on the nature of fractured humanity” - Yoon Ha Lee “Technology changes us—even our bodies—in fundamental ways, and Kunsken handles this wonderfully” - Cixin Liu

Follow one woman’s journey from skepticism, misfortune and near death, to a state of Nirvana. Accompany her on a quest for truth and knowledge and discover what life is really about as you are brought out of the darkness and into the light of a new world. Be prepared to be challenged as you embark on the wildest ride in human history. We are now at a point where technology begins to merge with human development and creates a more sophisticated species. Along this journey, author D. Crawford, begins to understand that 2012 is only the beginning, as we are propelled forward in a rapid rate of evolution and scientific discoveries. This is where the mind and spirit will finally merge as one. We can now understand how we are demi-gods, and that we are the Universe, incarnate. Humans are intelligence, experiences and infinite information encased within physical form. We are perpetual motion and beings of light waves in a state of a solid. Step back and explore the big picture as a wondrous puzzle and Divine Plan become clear as we interlock the pieces of spirituality, neuroscience, psychology and quantum physics. After all, this is not just any story of Truth and enlightenment; it is your story as well. The book contains personal experiences and topics including: Karma, evolution, the String Theory, rising above ego to higher frequencies, and using the infinite power of the human brain.

In this outstanding book Susan Strehle argues that a new fiction has developed from the influence of modern physics. She calls this new fiction actualism, and within that framework she offers a critical analysis of major novels by Thomas Pynchon, Robert Coover, William Gaddis, John Barth, Margaret Atwood, and Donald Barthelme. According to Strehle, the actualists balance attention to questions of art with an engaged meditation on the external, actual world. While these actualist novels diverge markedly from realistic practice, Strehle claims that they do so in order to reflect more acutely what we now understand as real. Reality is no longer "realistic"; in the new physical or quantum universe, reality is discontinuous, energetic, relative, statistical, subjectively seen, and uncertainly known_all terms taken from new physics. Actualist fiction is characterized by incompletions, indeterminacy, and "open" endings unsatisfying to the readerly wish for fulfilled promises and completed patterns. Gravity's Rainbow, for example, ends not with a period but with a dash. Strehle argues that such innovations in narrative reflect on twentieth-century history, politics, science, and discourse.

From Schrodinger's cat to Heisenberg's uncertainty principle, this book untangles the weirdness of the quantum world. Quantum mechanics underpins modern science and provides us with a blueprint for reality itself. And yet it has been said that if you're not shocked by it, you don't understand it. But is quantum physics really so unknowable? Is reality really so strange? And just how can cats be half-alive and half-dead at the same time? Our journey into the quantum begins with nature's own conjuring trick, in which we discover that atoms -- contrary to the rules of everyday experience -- can exist in two locations at once. To understand this we travel back to the dawn of the twentieth century and witness the birth of quantum theory, which over the next one hundred years was to overthrow so many of our deeply held notions about the nature of our universe. Scientists and philosophers have been left grappling with its implications every since.

In The Garden of Bad Dreams characters strive for order despite the entropy that surrounds them: a nostalgic circus man is compelled to collect small people; an industrious monk strives to push a mountain away from his monastery; the widow of an English captain tends her rose garden wearing an old Panama hat and tiny red slippers on her bound feet; and desperate soldiers eat an entire zoo, leaving only a pale jaguar from the jungles of South America. Transporting its readers from a city under siege to a forested hillside in central Serbia, via an ex-servicemen's estate in Badminton, The Garden of Bad Dreams is an imaginative feast, a surprising, exhilarating meeting place for the absurd and the strangely familiar, by a writer at the height of his powers.
